ADVERTORIAL: Jurassic Encounter follows sell-out tour with roarsome visit to Buxton in May

It’s been 65 million years since dinosaurs last roamed the earth, but The Pavillion Garden in Buxton will see time’s most ancient beasts come to life once more this spring.

T-rex, Velociraptors, Stegosaurus and Pterodactyls are just some of the species which will be roaming parkland when 2022’s most roarsome experience comes to town.

That’s right – the Jurassic Encounter: Where Dinosaurs Come to Life tour is back – featuring 50+ animatronic creatures from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods that will be re-surfacing in front of mesmerised families in the East Midlands.

The tour has already taken major cities in the UK such as London, Edinburgh, and Bristol, by storm – selling out tickets across the country.

The event will be open from Saturday, May 28, until Sunday, June 12. It will provide the ideal day out for both children and adults from Derbyshire and its neighbouring towns and villages, who want to take the short journey to the picturesque Peak District for an unforgettable experience.

Naz Kabir, spokesperson for Jurassic Encounter, says: “Last year, thousands of visitors all over the UK enjoyed a day out with our prehistoric beasts, and we’re delighted to return for another tour in 2022.

The sold-out tour was a huge success last year

“This year we’ll have new dinosaurs, even more interactive exhibits including a VR experience and an education cinema where families will be able to learn more about these incredible creatures.”

Tickets for the Jurassic Encounter tour start at £9.50, and early entry passes are available now for the Buxton event.
