Arrest after report of knife threat following loud music at Nottingham house

A knife was reportedly drawn following an argument over loud music in Hyson Green with a man arrested in connection with the incident. At around 10.40pm on Monday (March 21), Nottinghamshire Police were called to a property on Gregory Boulevard after it was reported that a man had banged on the front door and complained about the music.

He is then believed to have pulled out a knife and threatened someone inside. A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident and remains in police custody.

Sergeant Susan Farren, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “After responding to reports that a man had threatened someone during a dispute at an address in Gregory Boulevard, police quickly attended the scene and identified the suspect. A 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently being questioned, as our enquiries into this incident continue. If anyone witnessed what happened, or has any information that could assist us with our investigation, we’d ask that they call police on 101, quoting incident number 817 of March 21.”
