Corby Pride 2026 a Huge Success!

Corby is being thanked for their huge support of Corby Pride 2026 !

On Saturday (June 13), a public parade through Corby town centre was followed by a day of entertainment and community at Coronation Park.

The annual event is a source of solidarity and fun with LGBT+ residents and has been organised by Corby Town Council with the support of volunteers and local businesses since 2023.

On a sunny day, a huge crowd in the park were treated to great live performances on the Main Stage from Sass Brown aka Tina Turner, Tara Simms, Zoe Roderick, Miss TuTu and Flash: A Tribute to Queen.

On the Community Stage more great entertainment came from Lee Miller’s line dancing class, Melissa’s Movers, The Rainbow Folk dancers, singer PJ Taylor, music duo The Wot Now!, Corby Ukulele Band, morris dancers Corby Conspiracy and field entertainers KFJ Bookings.

The Wot Now! transferred to the main stage to end the day, leading the crowd with the song that sums up Pride and its people –  “Something Inside So Strong”.

This year’s main sponsors were Specsavers and were joined in sponsoring Corby Pride by GXO, RS Group, Dyno-Rod and Stuart Charles Estate Agents.

Thanks also go to the Friends of Pride: Sima trade union, Massive Hits Radio, Willow Place, LT Print, The Core in the Corby Cube, Co-Op and Asda.

A big thank you also goes to the many traders and stallholders from local businesses, charities and causes who were in attendance, security firm New Age Protection, traffic management firm Assured Solutions Ltd, Ambulance Rescue Ltd and most of all, the volunteers who gave up valuable hours to support Corby Pride.

Cllr Simon Rielly, Leader of Corby Town Council, said:

“I’m very proud that the Town Council was able to bring Pride back this year, driven by the hard work of our officers. I’m equally as proud of the support received from the community, businesses, partners and volunteers.

What a great day it was. Brilliant music, joy, laughter but most of all the togetherness that makes Corby Pride so strong.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pride community in Corby and beyond, now and going forward.”
