Corby VE Day 80th Anniversary

Corby Town Council in association with the Corby branch of the Royal British Legion and the Royal Air Force Air Cadets present a VE Day 80 event on Thursday 8th May at Coronation Park, Cottingham Road, NN17 1SY.

The centrepiece will be a beacon lighting – the event begins at 8.30pm with refreshments organised by the Air Cadets. At 9.00pm Corby’s Mayor and the Rev Paul Frost will lead the tribute. The beacon lighting will be performed by the Royal British Legion before a parade and formation display by the Air Cadets.

The event is free and everyone is welcome
