Lincolnshire Police update on aircraft cash as ask for the public’s help

Lincolnshire Police have released further details about the aircraft that crash-landed in a field today (Saturday, May 25). In an update shared on social media, the force confirmed the location and asked for the public’s help.

Emergency services were called to public event, which is held at RAF Coningsby after receiving reports of the crash. Lincolnshire Police initially commented on the incident saying that they received reports of the crash just before 1.20pm on Saturday, May 25. It has so far been confirmed that it was a single occupant aircraft, with no one thought to be involved, police said.

And in a further update released tonight, police said: “We can confirm the location of the aircraft crash as a field on Langrick Road in Congingsby.

“If you witnessed this incident or have any footage of it we would be grateful to hear from you. Please contact us on 101 or via force.control@lincs.police.uk quoting incident 221 of 25/05.”
