A man has been arrested following a knife attack in Nottingham.
The victim was found with injuries to his face and back following the incident in Radford which happened at around 11.45pm on Friday, October 8.
He is still undergoing medical treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police who attended the incident in Manston Mews searched the area after they were called and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
They also recovered a quantity of suspected class A drugs nearby and further arrested him on suspicion of possessing a class A substance.
Detective Constable Ben Grayson, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The quick action of officers meant that a man was brought into custody and was able to be questioned.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are working hard to understand the circumstances around the incident. However, we would reassure people that those thought to be involved are believed to be known to each other and this is an isolated incident.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 1008 of 8 October 2021.”
