Police are investigating after a man was found with serious injuries in Lincoln. Just before 1.30am today (Tuesday, August 19) emergency services attended the scene where a man in his 40s was found seriously injured, on the junction of Moorland Avenue and Westwick Drive.
He has since been taken to hospital. Roads have been closed close to the scene and will be shut ‘for some time,’ police have said.
Lincolnshire Police said: “A scene guard is currently in place on Westwick Drive, between Westwick Gardens and Moorland Avenue and these roads will be closed for some time while inquiries are carried out. An investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances involved in the incident.
“We are appealing for witnesses and any other information that can assist with our inquiries.”
