Today (April 10) saw thousands of people gather at Derby’s Pride Park stadium to run the Derby 10k through the city. Hundreds of friends and family members turned out to support their loved ones across the finish line.

With almost 2,400 people taking part in today’s race, the competition was hot as runners, both amateur and expert, and those joining in just for fun, took to Derby’s streets.

You can find a list of the provisional results to the race here.

Today’s event, organised by the Derby County Community Trust, was the 20th anniversary of the Derby 10k, so the pressure was on for all those competing to finish the course and beat any personal records they might have. There was also a family 3k fun run available for people who wanted to take part in the event less competitively.
