With Easter Weekend closing in, we are sure you are anticipating spending the time celebrating and having fun with both family and friends. However, if you plan on putting on a spread, pouring some drinks or simply stocking up on chocolate eggs, it is important for you to remember the Easter supermarket opening hours are slightly different than normal.
Good Friday falls on April 15, Easter Sunday on April 17 and Easter Monday on the April 18. While most shops are operating on normal hours on Easter Saturday, they usually operate reduced hours on bank holidays and Easter Sunday.
Although the majority of supermarkets will be closed on Easter Sunday you can still check their websites for your local store if you need to pop out for that milk you forgot to buy or that ‘you brought me one so now I have to buy you one‘ emergency Easter egg.
