Teenage girl and man arrested by on suspicion of drug dealing in Radford

A 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing Radford. Police say it comes after a quantity of white powder was found.

Officers from the Nottinghamshire Police specialist road crime team, stopped a vehicle as it headed along St Peter’s Street at around 3.15pm yesterday (April 1). The driver was searched and the white powder, thought to be cocaine, was said to have been recovered.

The girl and the man were both arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.

Detective Sergeant Chris Whitt, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This positive result was thanks to a fantastic team effort and shows we will continue to proactively stop vehicles believed to be involved in criminality.
