A woman previously convicted and jailed for shop theft offences and wanted on recall to prison has been returned to jail.
She had previously been convicted of shop theft offences in Eastwood.
The woman was released from prison on January 12, but allegedly failed to comply with her licence release conditions.
Nottinghamshire Police’s Broxtowe branch of Operation Reacher followed inquiries and arrested her on Wednesday (February 2) where she has since been recalled to prison.
The operation is a blend of proactive evidence-led police work and engaging with the community through events and programmes to disrupt crime.
Sergeant Liz Gaskin, who leads the team, said: “Time is no barrier and we will leave no stone unturned to find people who are wanted – either in connection with ongoing investigations or when they have their licence revoked.
“I hope this arrest demonstrates how we will continue to work hard to protect individuals and organisations from potential harm and strive to ensure that justice is served.”
