A woman has shared a regrettable experience she suffered at Butlin’s – and blamed her outfit for the experience.
Keighley Graver (@keighleyyy) took to TikTok to recall the hilarious moment she became the victim of a slide mishap at the Skegness resort due to her fashion choice that day. She humorously advised: “Pro tip: don’t wear SHEIN joggers when going down the slides at Butlin’s!”
The video, which has since gone viral, shows her zooming down the slide at such a speed the camera is barely able to keep up. The footage does, however, catch her screams as she is launched off the slide and lands painfully on the ground below.

It appears Keighley isn’t the only person who has suffered a similar experience. Another TikTok user commented: “This is literally what happened on my y6 school trip. I was wearing Shein joggers and went down the slide that was down the road from the residential place and I literally flew it was so embarrassing.”
Another user chimed in: “Also don’t wear leggings like Nike Pros as well. I almost went flying off the end.” A third chimed in with their own tale: “I was at this exact slide and place and did the same thing omg.”
Despite Keighley’s cautionary tale, some TikTok viewers seemed intrigued to replicate her experience, with one declaring: “Now I wanna go Butlin’s and and only wear stuff from SHEIN.”
One commentator humorously noted the benefits of a certain attire for a playground feature, posting: “I’m definitely wearing my Shein joggers on that slide,” while another quipped similarly: “All this video shows me is that I should wear Shein joggers on a slide.”
