Lincolnshire Police is investigating two reports of indecent exposure in the city centre. The two incidents were reported by separate witnesses on Friday, November 15 in St Marks, Lincoln.
At around 9.55pm a woman was walking from the Pure Gym off The Sidings to her parked car outside the old Toys R Us store. As she got into her vehicle a man came from behind the car, approached the driver’s window and then was seen masturbating.
The man then ran off as the woman began to get out of the car. Around five minutes later a second victim was walking from the Pure Gym with a friend towards the Toys R Us store. They saw a man stood on the footpath next to Burger King, who was facing them and masturbated.
It is believed that the man travelled by bicycle between St Marks and Dixon Street. Lincolnshire Police is urging anyone who saw him, who has CCTV in those areas or was driving in the area at that time and may have dashcam footage, to contact the force. On its website, the force states: “If you saw suspicious behaviour around this time, please get in touch as your information could be crucial to our investigation.”
The suspect has been described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, with a large belly. He was waring a bandana wrapped around his face pulled up to his eyes, and a thick grey puffa-style jacket with a zip on the front, which had been fully zipped.
He was also wearing a black skull cap. Anyone who witnessed the incidents or who may have information that could help the investigation should call call 101 quoting Incident 451 of November 15, 2024.
